Privacy
Videogen makes your videos in your browser and doesn't upload your photos. It has no backend, no accounts and no database.
Your photos, prompts and videos
- Face detection, depth estimation, animation and video encoding all run in your browser.
- Videogen doesn't upload your photos, prompts or finished videos, or save them remotely.
- While you work, your photo, prompt and video are kept in this browser's own storage on your device, so that they survive moving between pages. Replacing the photo deletes the earlier one. Anything left behind is deleted on your first visit after 24 hours.
What is downloaded
The app and its AI models are downloaded to your browser from this website. That only sends data in one direction: nothing about your photo is part of those requests. As with any website, the host can see standard request information such as your IP address.
Faces
Face detection finds the position of facial features so they can be animated. It does not identify anyone and no face data is stored.
Advertising and cookies
Videogen is funded by ads from Adsterra, which show as banners, a Social Bar and pop-under windows. Adsterra and its advertisers use cookies and similar technology, and receive information such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit, to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. See Adsterra's privacy policy.
Videogen doesn't give advertisers your photos, prompts or videos. However, ad scripts run on the same pages as the app, so we can't technically prevent them from accessing what's on those pages. If that matters to you, decline ads or don't use Videogen with sensitive photos.
